Version:            (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Opening the Video tab in the Kopete options locks up the UI. Confirmed in KDE 4.3 in Kubuntu 9.04 and Fedora 11, so I think it is a KDE problem. Thanks.

Yes I can confirm that on Fedora 11, whole desktop becomes slow when webcam starts.

Two questions:

1. What model of camera are you using?
2. What kernel module for the camera is being used?
