I don't know why it was hardcoded, I guess by mystake, should be fixed now.

I decided to hardcode it to surely provide the google search as the "Google
Search Bar" was missing in 0.2 release.
Jonas's patch does not work as it not work with "not dotted relative urls".
Anyway, no need to fix it as that ALL that code will be removed with the
"awesome url bar" introduction.
I also vote for this bug to fix. Additionally, search always uses ':' as separator, even if I confiugre it to be ' ' (space). So, simple typing 'test' in location bar leads to searching for 'gg:test' keyword in google. "Awesome URLbar" is coming soon to mainline rekonq. Let's hope it'll fix this :-) Fixed removing that feature :) We are reimplementing it better in the "awesome" bar |
