Description Axel Braun 2009-08-21 13:53:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I noticed now for the second time that knetworkmanager sucks all available CPU load (from the output of 'top'), bringing the CPU up to 90°C.

No idea what the problem caused, as the laptop was running already all day. I attache the network mananger log from the last two days, dont know if that helps.

Have you any idea how to trigger this bug? What kind of connections were in use at the time?

If haven't already, add a CPU load monitor like System Load Viewer, System Monitor -CPU, or bubblemon to your panel, then you will notice when the CPU starts to thrash and can point out more precisely when in the NM logs this occurred.
