If the first post of each thread were highlighted differently to the following articles, it would aid reading the title of each thread, due to there being less of a jumble of letters for the eye to accustom itself to before reading can commence. The followups should be dimmer than the OP. Would also be useful to have as a config parameter.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
