Happens to me on KDE 4.11.0. In Kate, and Dolphin, System Settings, etc (so I can confirm the bugs live somewhere on KDElibs). In Kate, if I put some non-breaking space, it displays a dot (because Kate displays a dot to see spaces) but it doesn’t move the cursor one character to the right, so we can enter as many as non-breaking space as we like, the cursor stay at the same place. It’s really annoying because narrow non-breaking space is frequently used in French (before !, ?, ;, after « and before », and some others cases). Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! It’s working on Plasma 5. |
