Description Fabio Correa 2009-08-19 15:31:21 UTC
Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.3.0)
Compiler: gcc (Gentoo 4.3.2-r4 p1.7, pie-10.1.5) 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It would be great to reuse Okular instances, specially when work involves rapidly changing documents, like those generated from console programs, or ephemeral documents, like those downloaded from Internet.

So adding a "close" menu item or a "close document" button would be a nice touch for Okular.

I usually try the shortcut Ctrl+W to close the current window as it is the standard shortcut for that action. Since Okular does not support that action I've tried Ctrl+Q and it rightfully closed all windows. But that was not what I intended and forced me to reopen about 8 documents.

I also use dual screen and the top right corner of one screen is the 0,0 coordinate of the next. So I cannot move the cursor easily to that corner and close the window that way (normally using touchpad in the laptop).

4.10 will have a close menu option
