This bug is still valid with KDE SC 4.4 beta 2. Hi Chirstian ;) I can not reproduce this one neither with KDE 4.4 SVN 1068732 | Qt 4.6.0 Hi Kolia, As usual I can also reproduce it with a new user. :) I will test this again with the next Beta/RC maybe there were some problems around the dashboard solved in between. SVN commit 1071302 by mart: don't block signals so the containment will be properly initialized resize the containment to the maximum view size... suboptimal probably we will need to put a different dashboard for each monitor another issue is that probably shouldn't be possible at all to setup the containment sincethe wallpaper doesn't make sense and changing activity type breaks everything BUG:204371 M +7 -2 plasmaapp.cpp WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1071302 Thanks for fixing, I assume this fix was to late for KDE SC 4.4. RC 1 as I can still reproduce it. However, I would like to add a remark to the above comment: I do not agree, that having a different wallpaper on the dashboard does not make sense. I find this very convenient for my system where compositing does not work. But if it is not possible to this seperately from the choice of activity, I can understand the aim to remove the possibilty to modify the containment of the dashboard. |
