This bug describes a user experience issue with the as-you-type spell checker in the KMail composer. Specifically, the red underline appears as soon as a couple of letters are typed, but before the word is complete. This behavior is quite distracting because the user constantly sees a red underline under the current word.

Other applications such as Evolution and Firefox only spell-check a word after a terminating character such as space or period is typed. As such there is no underline until the word is complete.

This issue should be very easy to correct and would be most appreciated for the next point release.
