What I was doing when the application crashed:
Not much to tell actually.  System started up, asked me for my KWallet password and Kopete crashed.  Attempting to start it again once the system is 100% up fails with another crash.

- Is the crash happening every time ?
- Are you using a MSN account ? If you do, can you try removing it ?; Also, if you don't want to remove it, can you downgrade libmsn to beta6 ? (There are lots of crashes of Kopete+libmsn-beta7)

The crash did indeed appear to be linked to my MSN account and downgrading to beta6 seems to have fixed the problem.  I guess I'll close this since it's not a KDE issue and I assume the libmsn folk know about it.
