Further information for this bug: I'm using Arch Linux, latest per the repository, and KDE 4.3.0. many old themes had an incorrect package structure, now that plasma is more strict about checking a correct structure unfortunately some stopped working, but is a problem of the individual the,es.. it's strange about that strange green stuff, can you provide a screenshot anyways? Created attachment 36236 [details]
Taskbar, green and blue-ish tint, while using older KDE 4.x plasma themes.
Absolutely and sure thing.
I've added the screenshot as an attachment. The screenshot is of the taskbar only, painted a green/blue weird color, while using Oxygen. Some older plasma themes, per your description, give me this kind of reaction.
It's notable the widgets are black, but they are displaying as I remember Oxygen.
Michael, I can not reproduce this on KDE 4.4 SVN 1068732 | Qt 4.6.0, when playing around with desktop theme details, even with the Oxygen theme. It works as expected. Can you still reproduce the problem? Also, the oxygen panel is dark but transparent (at least now, don't know how it was before, maybe totally black?), so isn't the panel blue/green just because you have a blue/green background behind it? Closing as WORKSFORME. Reopen if you experience this again with a recent KDE SC. Thanks |
