so putting the mouse at the edge of the screen -slowsly- does not open the panel? is a speed issue? Correct. I need to bang the mouse at the appropriate edge. I tried taking a screenshot of my mouse right there at the lowest point of the glow of a hidden panel, but Ksnapshot does not include the mouse pointer! hmm, could be the invisible activation window one pixel off the edge of the screen erhaps. weird because i can't reprodice here. does it happen with all the edges? As I have a panel on the right that I do not want to change, I only tested the left, upper, and lower edges. All of those edges suffer from the bug. It seems to be a Compiz problem. Disabling Compiz makes the bug go away. However, disabling Compiz also makes the hover effect go away as well. Note that the KDE effects are very buggy on this ATI graphics card so I use Compiz instead. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 198066 *** |
