Description Malte S. Stretz 2009-08-15 16:11:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I write my mails both in English (most) and German. The default language is English, so everything is marked as wrong when I start writing a German one and I have to manually switch the spell checker language. This gets annoying over time.

It would be great if KAddressBook had an extra field "Spoken Languages" on the Misc tab and when I choose a recipient, the spell checker language is automagically switched.

Extra ideas:
 * If not set, guess the language based on the Geo location I can already enter.
 * If multiple languages are available, To takes precedence, Cc second.
 * Maybe some voting kind algorithm based on the languages of all the recipients.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
