Version:           2.0.2 (using KDE 4.2.4)

when ever i try to play songs in AMAROK then at the time of AMAROK boot it gives the error like " Phonon KDE's Multimedia Library The audio playback device does not work dallin back to DEfault "
and then no songs are played even on clickin play .

That message comes from Phonon, reassigning

I've seen that before when trying to use phonon gstreamer backend, it always/often falls back to "default" which for me is alsa-plugins-pulseaudio, but at least it plays.

In your case, I'd suggest consulting your distro for phonon backend support options.

I guess you are using pulseaudio... that is the typical error one gets when using pulseaudio with the phonon-xine-backend. You should avoid using pulseaudio in KDE, it is not needed and only causes problems. Usually removing pulse and erasing ~/.kde/share/config/phonondevicesrc, then restarting KDE solves the problem.

And FWIW, you should upgrade your Amarok 2.0.2 is very old and completely outdated, version 2.1.1 has been release since quite some time already.
