You mean presentation mode, not fullscreen mode. And that's obviously a wish, not a bug. Well if you say so then obviously i mean that. So it is intended behavior that both default shortcuts for quitting do not work in that mode. aMhh. I say that because both Ctrl+Q and ALT+F4 quit from fullscreen mode, so you are probably refering to presentation window. In presentation window Alt+F4 closes the presentation window as you told it to do. And your wish is that Ctrl+Q close the application when on the presentation window. Now tell me where my reasoning is wrong and why you got offended. Well i said neither, i was just slightly confused about the reaction to this. Anyways. Definitely do i think it is a bug if CTRL+Q does not close the application in all modes. But the classification is not of much importance. Btw, i think someone else expressed this already, it is highly confusing that presentation mode creates *another* window. Every media player (except VLC at the moment - but i think that's a bug..) one switches to ...uhhmm... fullscreen mode changes the existing window's properties to maximized, on top and without border, i hope this is comparable (you do agree that the 'presentation' mode is, in fact, fullscreen i hope)--- We've discussed that in another bug, and no, i don't agree that presentation mode and fullscreen are the same. And presentation mode opens a new window for a reason, and it's already been stated why in lots of places, do you need the rationale again? |
