Hope it is okay for you that I mark this as a duplicate of something very similar. I don't think that kmail should automatically remove the local folders when there is an IMAP folder add - people often have several mailboxes and some may still be POP3. But it should possible to hide the local folders, as proposed in bug #44864 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 44864 *** I don't think it can be considered as duplicate of 44864. Although they are connected, their targets atr different and will be implemented separately too, I guess. My question is, do we really want the local folders to automatically disappear when an IMAP account is added? I think not. But we want them to be removeable. Wouldn't that do what is essentially wanted? |
