Description anton 2009-08-11 22:37:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

kget tray icon is hidden though it is checked in tray autohide settings.

While writing this report I understood that It shows up only if some download is active (with triangle-in-circle small icon on it).

Now I'm not sure if this is bug or feature, but my first idea was that there were something wrong with autohide options of system tray (I check the icon and it does not give me expected result).

This is caused because the new system tray icons protocol allow to set the status of an icon "Passive"/"Active"/"Requiring Attention", and according to that state it will be shown or not. In any case, this is set in KGet code, so I'm reassigning. Thanks
