Description Marcus Harrison 2009-08-09 03:33:23 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-gentoo-r6

With a short (not long/maximized) panel, either aligned to the left or the right, pop-out widgets such as Microblogging and RememberTheMilk widgets only let you resize from the side attached to the screen edge. This makes it very difficult to resize the widget, as you can't make it wider (you can't drag the mouse beyond the screen). On KDE 4.3.0. Not tested with vertical panels yet.

On KDE 4.4 beta 2 this seems to work fine for me with a panel at the top of the screen with only the microblogging widget. Tested both right and left sides.

Yes: Using 4.4 beta 2, I notice now that the resize handle switches sides depending on whether it is against the screen edge or not, which is the expected behaviour and fixes this bug.
