When viewing a contact "card" in the normal view, i.e. not in the contact editor mode, it is not possible to select any text and copy it to the clipboard. The menu entry edit->copy seems to be available, but has no effect. Also [ctrl]+[c] doesn't work and there's no relevant context menu.

This really blocks the work flow. Often I want to do something else with an e-mail address than write a new mail to it and likewise for phone numbers.

Thank you for your efforts you put into this bug. kab3 has long been deprecated, and so I close its old reports. If this bug/wish is still valid for kab3's successor kaddressbook in any recent version (5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08.0 or later), please file a new bug against kaddressbook.
