Description rerxrerx 2009-08-07 19:06:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Having selected more than two contacts, the entry "merge contacts" in the edit menu in the Address Book Browser is grayed out. It is possible to merge multiple contacts one after the other, but really the software should do this work for the user.
Comment 1 Steffen Michalek 2011-10-15 09:30:58 UTC
Since merging disappeared between Version 4.3. and 4.6, the present bugreport
is not of value any more.

Should be closed.

The need for enhancement of current kaddressbook is expressed in
Bug 278780, now.

Thanks, Steffen

Thank you for your efforts you put into this bug. kab3 has long been deprecated, and so I close its old reports. If this bug/wish is still valid for kab3's successor kaddressbook in any recent version (5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08.0 or later), please file a new bug against kaddressbook.
