Description Per (phobie) 2009-08-06 14:30:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Regional & Language --> Keyboard Layout --> Advanced --> Miscellaneous compatibility options --> "Shift with numeric keypad works as in MS Windows"

This does not explain the function!
I don't know how Windows implements this, so should I buy windows to find out?

Agreed. The text should explain what the option does, and could maybe have the "as in MS Windows" text in parenthesis.

This string is coming from xkeyboard-config project (http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/XKeyboardConfig), you may wanna file a bug on freedesktop.org
