I can confirm it on kopete Version 0.99.80 Using KDE 4.3.68 (KDE 4.3.68 (KDE 4.4 >= 20090916)) "release 5" opensuse packages. Alin The problem still persists. It's a bit strange though, I have a Jabber account on jabber.fr, and another on gmail.com: the problem occurs only with the GTalk account! Kopete version 0.80.2 under KDE 4.3.3, Fedora 11 packages. Qt: 4.6.0 KDE Development Platform: 4.3.90 (KDE 4.3.90 (KDE 4.4 RC1)) Kopete: 0.99.90 And the problem still persists. As I understand this is about how invisible isn't managed by most jabber servers at all, and commonly perceived as not supported by the xmpp protocol. Still: even reverting to 'online visible' for the jabber accounts would be preferable. It would be fantastic to set the initial state of connection by an on account basis. (In reply to comment #0) > It connects to ICQ and MSN just fine, but it doesn't show any Google Talk > contacts online. This is what google's xmpp server doing. Closing as invalid, because Kopete cannot do anything about it. |
