Hi, Does this crash also occur with Qt 4.5? Is this crash reproducable? I.e. Does it happen on every single startup? Did it work before? At which update did it start crashing? I didn't try it with Qt 4.5 and it's not that easy for me to try it .. switching temporarily to 4.5 would mean recompiling 4.6 again afterwards... when I find the time to do so I'll try but for the moment.. It is reproducable (as in: happens everytime, also when starting digikam the marble plugin crashes the digikam startup). No it didn't work before.. broken from the beginning (although I've been running 4.6 from the beginning (brand new archlinux system)) Its not necessarily true that you will need to recompile 4.6 after trying Marble with 4.5. You can download the standalone SDK that does not affect or alter your path in any way, then through a combination of setting your QTDIR and your PATH you can get CMake to find the 4.5 install of Qt Just make sure that you put the path to the 4.5 dir first in the QTDIR and PATH variables and then CMake should pick out the right Qt. |
