Mh, a XIOError related to Phonon Should this be reassigned then or is it my (KShisen's) fault by using Phonon incorrectly? Mh, I have seen several crashes caused by Phonon, but I can't really be sure where is the problem. Let's the Phonon developers check it. Regards @Marcel: Was this reproducable for you? If yes, is it still the case? Shishen-Sho previous to upgrade from fedora 14 to fedora 16 worked OK. Since Fed 16 and Gnome3 every time i successfully complete a game there is a 1 second pause then a complete system crash. Unable to capture screen dump as system freezes in what looks like a terminal and I have to hardware reset to get control back. No errors reported on restart. Kernel 3.1.4-fc16.x86_64 Gnome 3.2.1 Shisen-Sho Version 1.8.3 Using KDE Development Platform 4.7.3 (4.7.3) Crash happens with the phonon-xine backend, which is no longer maintained. If you can reproduce with a recent KDE, and phonon-vlc or phonon-gstreamer backend, please add an updated backtrace, or open a new bug. |
