Description Elias Probst 2009-07-31 12:38:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

How to reproduce:
→ Open a mail
→ Rightclick on one of the email addresses in the header
→ Select "Add to Addressbook"
→ Click "Cancel" in the now displayed resource selection dialog

Now the confirmation dialog saying 'The email address "Bar, Foo" was added to your address book; you can add more information to this entry by opening the address book.' is displayed, although "Cancel" was clicked.

I can not reproduce this. What kind/how many resources do you use ? Are you running akonadi ?
Comment 2 Elias Probst 2009-08-03 00:33:06 UTC
This works only, if the address, you're rightclicking at isn't already listed in the addressbook.

I have 1 address resource using Akonadi, which points to a VCF file.

This is a duplicate of the bug #202441.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
