Description Vivek 2009-07-29 04:00:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Since upgrading (approximately) KDE 4.2.2, the panel context menu size no longer matches the menu contents. For example, if I right-click on an open task, the context menu takes the size of the taskbar item (which shrinks as I open many programs), but the menu options listed only come about halfway across the menu.

See attached screenshot.

the menu matches the width of the task button (so you can right click anywhere and just move up, just like the left click popup on groups). this exposed a bug in QMenu which i've patched in Qt and sent upstream for merging.
