Version:            (using KDE 4.2.4)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs

I read something in web page with konqueror, send that url with:

  alt+f, l

and it uses kmail to open that url in message body, ready for sending after receivers have been fed. I send and probably something happens, not sure.

Then kmail main window appears like in this screenshot:

only horizontal scrolling works, presing the X symbol from window manager causes crash:

not sure how reproducible this is, but surely i've seen it time to time.

Do you see it with 4.3 also ?
What settings do you have in the mainwindow regarding folderview/layout (maybe a screenshot helps).

depending on your distro you might get a RC3 release (e.g. openSuse has this)
or you could compile from source, or you just wait another few days and try then.

Not sure. Probably the [Geometry] and the [General] sections.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
