Can I have a bit more info? What do you mean by “It doesn't show the correct timezone time!”? I've also observed this problem. Despite the fact that I move the mouse cursor and the plasmoid is changing the name of the cities under the cursor, the time alway remains at UTC, except when I leave the plasmoid's area by the mouse cursor: then my own town's name will be displayed together with my local time. The only "working" city is Kathmandu for me, beside my native country's capital, Budapest (but this latter only when I leave the ares of the plasmoid). Very strange. Moreover, when I chose to "use custom timezone selection", the plasmoid losts its ability to show the names of the cities under the cursor too. Additionally, it remains unable to show the city names even after unchecking "use custom timezone selection". Please take a look at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195015#c2 , too. Using OpenSuse 11.1 - Kde 4.3.1 R169 When the mouse is outside, my "HomeTown" is shown : Name, "highlighted", correct time. When mouse is on "Kathmandu", it will be shwon : Name, "highlighted", correct time. everywhere else (including my HomeTown) the name of the city near the mouse will be displayed, but "Abidjan" is highlighted and the time of Abidjan is displayed. Confirmed in KDE SC 4.3.90. also with kde4.5rc1 Thanks for the report. Sadly it seems to never have been solved? The Plasma worldclock widget has been rewritten now in QML for Plasma5 (and lacking some of the old features still, especially timezones). The old code is no longer maintained, so closing this now. Please try the new widget and report any issues or features you would like to see (re-)implemented.
