I have three IMAP accounts running in KMail and if I disconnect the network (pull the plug), I get error messages if the accounts are checked for the next time. If I now reconnect the network and fetch mail, not all accounts are checked. In this state, if I quit KMail, there are kio_imap4 processes, that keep running.

I think all kio processes keep running until a certain timeout occurs.
Do you have the problem that they never stop ?

You are right. The processes disappear after a few minutes.

 I close this report, then. :)
