Description G Cohen 2009-07-24 22:28:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.3 RC3

In RC3 the network management plasma icon in the panel shows the plug (rather than that lollipop) icon and says wlan0 is not connected while it is actually connected and working well.
When clicking on the icon the wlan interface does show it is connected to my network.

I have tried to remove and then add the plasma again, but that doesn't help.

I can confirm this problem started after i upgraded to kde 4.3 RC3. connecting to a wireless network doesnt give any visual feed back or notification. the network manager plasmoid widget displays the unplugged sign even when the system is connected to a network
