Dragging between dashboard and desktop allows using pastebin, imageshack and other plasmoids.

Between expose-like window view, makes easier to drag to another opened window.

Dragging in desktop grid makes it possible to drop something on window on another desktop.

I mark as duplicate although there are three feature requests:
 * the first belongs to Plasma
 * the second is the duplicate
 * the third is IMO a wontfix, as adding functionality to Present Windows would fullfill the use case and having it in desktop grid is rather useless as windows are covered.
