Version: (using KDE 4.0.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Having 8 huge IMAP-accounts it's becoming impossible to work on the desktop while KMail is downloading all of them at the same time -- it's too much I/O.

*) Kmail should use ionice (configurable)

*) Kmail should have a kind of "scheduling" to take care that not more then <n> accounts are checked at the same time. New checks should have to wait untill a "download-slot" is available.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
