Konqueror does remember its last used size, and I think it shouldn't. 
When a javascript page opens a stupid little window, Konqueror's new windows will then be opened with this size... not really useful.
Profiles are made for that... So please Konqueror devs, disable this "remember last used size", or at least, make it be an option.

Does Konqueror devs care about their app? When I report a bug I almost NEVER have any answer......

Confirmed with trunk r1075199 as of today.  The "webbrowsing" profile is updated with the window size whenever a Konqueror window is closed.

As the reporter points out, this is extremely annoying

As the reporter points out, this is extremely annoying not only when small popups are opened, but if the user just needs to resize a window to read a particular page.

KDE3 Konqueror had an explicit option "Save window size in profile", but this now seems to have disappeared.

Nothing happens? This is a major usability problem with konqueror. Konqueror should
* NEVER save the size of a javascript created window
* ALLWAYS size javascript windows as requested by the script (though never bigger than the maxinized size) - if no size is provided, as parent.

HURRAY! Sounds like somebody finally cares about Konquerors ugly bugs.....

This issue can no longer be reproduced with KDE 4.9.1 or higher. There were some long standing fixes that were made to Konqueror as it relates to popup windows in for that release ; so this issue seems to have been addressed by it as well. Feel free to reopen this ticket if the issue still persists for you with KDE 4.9.1 or higher.
