seems like a good idea irrespective of the resolution of the other bug. however, it should be preferably done via a very generic plugin system - like plasma. The wish is older than 2 years, but there is atm no resolution for KDM4. An onscreen keyboard is important if you use a tablet or touchpc. *** Bug 276277 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 289055 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** please add maliit to login screen if possible It's worse in plasma 5, where there is no onscreen keyboard/virtual keyboard at all for both the screen locker, and the display manager. This makes plasma 5 unusable on tablet computers. KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5. SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/ |
