Description markuss 2009-07-18 17:49:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I while ago we discussed on kde-usability how to handle shortcuts.
While we didn't come to a conclusion in every detail, some agreements were made and existing rules were clarified.
For the full discussion see http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-usability&m=123151304012623&w=2

We came to the conclusion that Ctrl-Q should always quit an app, no matter which window is active. However, Kopete uses Ctrl-Q to close chat windows when they are active.
"Close all chats" is a nice feature, but another shortcut should be found (Ctrl-Shift-W or whatever).
