digiKam and GPS info imported fro M$ tool

Description dukat 2009-07-15 00:32:34 UTC
Version: 1.0.0-beta1 (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have some images geo-located with Microsoft Pro Photo Tools. When I open them with Digikam, I can see the Geo-Location information on the EXIF Metadata Pane, however the Marble Map does not show the location of the image (The GPS information at the bottom of the Marble map is greyed out). Also, when trying any of the Image->Geolocation tools, Digikam always assume that no GPS info is set in the picture.

When I set the GPS info using Digikam, all works as expected.

I've seen that Pro Photo Tools does not set all GPS info that Digikam sets when geolocating, i.e. there are no GPSVersionID, GPSAltitude nor GPSMapDatum tags in the image. I've tried to set these tags using exiv2, but Digikam still does not recognize the GPS info.

Work fine here using code from svn.
Checkout last code of libkexiv2 to be sure
