Sentry Crash Report:

Description Leandro Alexandre 2009-07-14 18:43:59 UTC
Version: 0.70.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler: gcc version 4.3.3
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I can't send files to another client in jabber protocol.
I try to send a file, the other parte accepts my request and nothing happens. The transfer is canceled. I also try to configure proxy settings, but not works.
This problem only happens when the other part is not using kopete. To reproduce this bug, I created two accounts in jabber.org. In my home, I have two computers, on the same network (not need to configure proxy settings or open ports on my router). First, I try to send a file with both parts using kopete, it works! The other host uses kopete version 0.12.7 on KDE 3.5.10. When I try to send a file from kopete v0.70.2 to a client using pidgin v2.5.5, it works, but when I change, and use kopete v0.70.2, does not work. I think it's a problem of incompatibility between kopete v0.70.2 and other clients using jabber protocol, since the older version work as well.
Feel free to contact me in case any doubt remains.
Best regards,
Lendro Alexandre

Should be fixed in KDE SC 4.4 and also will be in KDE 4.3.5
