Description fabiomargarido 2009-07-13 21:49:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I had a set of filters created and applied to all incoming messages in all my accounts. Somewhere along the line in the history of KDE 4.3 updates this option stopped working. When I use the menu (Message -> Apply Filter -> Apply All Filters) the filters work correctly.
I don't know what other information I can provide. The only thing that happened concurrently to the KDE updates I can think of is that I had two accounts set up (and the filters were applied to incoming messages in both of them) and one of them was removed. Now I can't find a way to make incoming messages be automatically filtered.
Thanks.

Please check if the filters are still marked as "Apply this filter to incoming messages" in the advanced tab per filter (although your subject here suggests you did that already ...)

Can you also try and track down the problem by removing all but one filters and see if that works or not.

If still not, please attach here the corresponding section (the filter settings) of your kmailrc

Hi Martin,

kmail stopped showing this behaviour just as inexplicably as it started. I changed nothing (that I remember) and the filters just started working again out of the blue.
I believe you can close this issue as invalid. I'll keep an eye out and report back if I see anything strange again.
Thanks for your attention and apologies for having disturbed you over nothing.
