Description Maciej Pilichowski 2009-07-13 12:29:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)

Let's say previews for text file are off, but the preview in general is on. This means the
hello.txt
file will be represented as txt generic icon.

It would be useful, if dolphin could show an overlay icon (bottom right corner?) similar to markers (-/+ in mechanism of showing I mean). If user clicks on this mini-icon then the preview for _this_ file would appear an stay as longer user does not change the directory.

If this wish would be excepted there would be need for mini-icon "no supported" to show over not supported/unknown format files.

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2017-08-18 18:19:29 UTC
Why not just turn on previews, or open the file?
