Clarification: "the Browser" refers to the "Browser" tab of akonadiconsole.

The issue persists in 4.2.98.

Addition:
The "traditional" resources neither work, mostly due to "could not create collection", but the first time also with something similar to: "could not append mimetype".

Current state: internal db, imap+kolab resources configured.
Removed imap+kolab resources, and then added them back.

Splitting the resource-not-found-after-database-loss error (comment 4) into a separate bug 202583. (Just ignore the comments here.)

mysql version: 5.0.83
The issue happens after wiping the database (akonadictl stop, rm -r .local/share/akonadi, rm -r .config/akonadi, akonadictl start) and recreating everything, too.

server is running dovecot 1.2.1.
