Description kgw 2009-07-09 00:05:59 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

O have a rather large folder with images of diferent types, amongst which there are jpeg and xcf (which represent intermediate editing steps of said jpeg images). When I select one of the xcf images in the image sidebar the bar jums erratically to another of the jpeg images so that the current selection (which correctly rests on the xcf image) is no longer visible. Continuous browsing results in rather erratic jumps in the image list.)

It looks similar to something I am experiencing with current trunk when browsing USB drives. Can you reproduce this with Dolphin as well or is it specific to Gwenview? Also, can you reproduce it with latest stable version of Gwenview (2.3.0)?

Sorry to be so late in reporting back... I can reproduce this with the latest gwenview 2.3.2. As I don't use dolphin at all, I just gave it a spin but am unable to get a similar effect...

Can you create try to create a tarball of the folder which cause this bug, and attach it here (you may want to try to remove some files if it's too big, as long as the bug can be reproduced)

Is this still an issue?
