*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 189235 *** opening /opt/kde3/bin/konqueror (KDE3 konqueror), and choosing copyto -> browse and then typing fish://mysite.com and pressing enter immediately brings up the folder listing for the remote site and you can then just click on the folders to choose the folder to copyto. It works flawlessly. Seriously consider restoring the konqueror backend to konqueror in KDE4. It is very apparent that the current dolphin backend for konqueror in KDE4 simply "does not work" and "does not provide needed basic functionality" that konqueror has always had. If you simply provide KDE3 functionality for konqueror in KDE4, I would be more than happy. Even providing the user the ability to choose which backend to use for konqueror (konqueror or dolphin) would fix many of the konqueror bugs in KDE4. I would like to delete my KDE3 install, but I simply can't due to bugs like this where I cannot do what I need to do in KDE4. Let me know if I can provide more info on this one. I would like to see this one fixed. It is one of the biggest (fish bugs in general) that prevent me from being able to use kde4. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 189235 *** (In reply to comment #1) > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 189235 *** Sorry Pino, we had a mid air collision, I have marked the bug as a duplicate again. |
