Version:            (using KDE 4.2.90)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources

Drop down menu covers all other windows. 
How to reproduce:

1- open the attached test case and list the drop down menu.

2- while the drop down menu open, open new window (any window I tested kick-off menu, konqueror, and dolphin) 

3- notice that the drop down menu will cover any windows.

Could this be a kwin or a kdelibs problem?

likely a khtml issue

basically the dropdown
a) is supposed to stay above (like popups)
b) should hide when loosing focus

works with webkit, firefox, opera, Q & K ComboBox

Using Version 5.0.97, I can confirm this bug is fixed.
