this is only happening on my laptop....on my desktop is working fine I have the same effect on my laptop. The laptop has a Intel Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller and compositing is activated and working. I'm using the xserver-xorg-video-intel driver in version 2.8. KDE is version 4.3.0 on a Debian Sid system. still happening on kde4.3.1 I hit this bug on my laptop, too (Gentoo, intel graphics). Just now I noticed that the desaturate effect actually works correctly if I _uncheck_ "Logout" in systemsettings. happens on my kubuntu laptop, too. It's an Intel Mobile 4 Series graphics card. Other compositing effects work very well. Looks solved to me, using kde 4.5.5...feel free to reopen if any problems show up. |
