In RC1 playing movies in the preview pane works, yet mp3s fail, i.e. they do not start.

This was confirmed by others on opensuse, if it works on other platforms this might be an opensuse-specific issue.

Doesn't work in kubuntu (9.04 backport) either, just does nothing. Video playback works, to mplayer support extent.
