Description Rafael 2009-07-02 04:33:04 UTC
Version: 4.2.4 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

My laptop is an Acer aspire 2920Z, when I order KDE to shut down, it usually wastes between 6-15 seconds to close itself. If during this time I close the laptop lid, KDE put computer suspended on RAM in place of continue the shut down process, this is because PowerDevil is configured to suspend to RAM when lid is closed. But I think when the user has already given to KDE the order for shutdown or reboot, PowerDevil should then allow the process to continue and do not suspend to RAM.

This reminds me bug 183273 (but that should be fixed right now)
Thanks
