Description doc.evans 2009-07-01 05:15:02 UTC
Version: 2.1.1 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-13-generic

I'll add a screenshot showing the problem.

If multiple albums in the collection have the same name ("Live" in the screenshot), the cover displayed by the "albums" plugin doesn't always match the cover in the "current track" plugin or in the playlist; it is sometimes the cover of a different album with the same name.

In the screenshot, what is playing is a track from "Live" by Alison Krauss and Union Station, but the cover displayed by the "albums" plugin is from "Live" by Leo Kottke.

I don't understand how this bug and my bug 191411 can both be duplicates of the same bug.

This bug and bug 191411 are describing two quite different problems.

One problem is to do with the display of covers in the playlist, and one is to do with covers in the "albums" plug-in. It is perfectly possible for the playlist to be right, but the plug-in to be wrong, and vice-versa.
