Description Diederik van der Boor 2009-07-01 00:21:11 UTC
Version: 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)) "release 138" (using 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)) "release 138", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-48-pae

With KDe 4.3 giving nice job updates on everything, I actually missed a KIO job progress on a form upload.

I was uploading a 17MB file today, and had no idea how fast the upload was going, and when it would ever complete. Having a job progress notification on this would be a lifesaver for me. :)

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
