It was working fine last week.
It's retrieved from openSuSE's repos. Let me know if any further info is needed.

KDE4.2.0 is a *bit* old. 
What is your "libmsn" package version ?
Looks related to bug 180552 / bug 180260 / bug 177469. (a libmsn bug which should be fixed..)

This was working fine last week, though. This is a sudden issue (which has occurred before). Libmsn version was 3.9.0. Upgrading to 3.9.6.

Update: Libmsn upgrade fixed it. Turns out I had an offline message.
