Sentry Crash Report:

Description Ramon 2009-06-25 12:13:56 UTC
Version: 4.3.0 pre (using 4.2.90 (KDE 4.2.90 (KDE 4.3 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-13-generic

This may be not exactly a bug, but it is indeed a quite annoying feature:
I have configured a few calendars in Kontact which are fetched from a remote server. The problem is that when I work offline, Kontact tries to update them periodically which results in a pop-up window warning about the error.
How to reproduce: configure calendar in remote file with updates at regular intervals. Switch off network connection.
Problem is that this pop-ups accumulate and have to be clicked one by one before being able to access any part of Kontact.
Expected behavior would be that the message is shown in a less annoying way (bottom bar or as a system notification), or even better stop trying to update the calendar after auto-detection of offline mode.
Bottom line is: Normally I know I'm offline, hence I don't need my calendar to accumulate reminders every ten minutes.
