Now, than the NM Plasmoid uses the Kwallet, it would be very usefull, to give the option to unlock it when logging in (account password = kwallet password). Most of the users take the same password for both, anyway.

This is actually a wish that's quite old and has been issued many times. I received a patch for this a while ago that will make it into KDE 4.4.

Unfortunately I don't even have a KDE3 development environment any longer and as far as I know there won't be another version of KDE3. I was however told that some distributions might already ship a version of KDE3.5.x that has this patch (iirc OpenSUSE).
